Seit dem ersten Januar 2006 ist in Österreich ein neues Fremdenrechtspaket in Kraft, welches EhepartnerInnen aus Nicht-EU-Ländern mit der Illegalisierung und damit einer unmittelbaren Abschiebung bedroht. Aus diesem Grund haben sich einige der Betroffene zur Initiative “Ehe ohne Grenzen” zusammengeschlossen, die jeden Mittwoch zum Hochzeitsmarsch auf das Innenministerium aufruft - mittlerweile zum 31.Mal.

Die Forderungen umfassen u.a. eine sofortige Erteilung von Aufenthaltstiteln unabhängig vom Zeitpunkt der Eheschliessung, die Anerkennung von im Ausland geschlossenen gleichgeschlechtlichen Partnerschaften, die Chancengleichheit bezüglich Reintegration und Resozialisierung von Sans Papiers sowie eine generelle Entkriminalisierung von binationalen Ehen.

Auf der mittlerweile relativ umfangreichen Webseite finden sich neben aktuellen Infos und Terminen auch hilfreiche Tipps für Betroffene sowie eine ausführliche Linkliste.

Dokumentation des Rüstungswahnsinns und der Bautätigkeiten des Naziregimes in Österreich und den damit verbundenen Opfern - Projekten, die damals geheim waren oder heute gerne als geheim dargestellt werden. Es soll gezeigt werden welche Todesmaschinerie in Gang gesetzt wurde, um die Rüstungsziele zu erreichen und welche Opfer dafür in Kauf genommen wurden: angefangen bei Millionen von ermordeten KZ-Häftlingen bis zu den Toten des alliierten Bombenkrieges.

Monolake, Berlin-based label, techno-producers and programmers of Abelton Live have released a statement, in which they complain that their new CD Layering Buddha had been uploaded to file-sharing networks already three weeks before it’s official release. A promo-copy had been distributed among less than 100 journalists, at least two of them had encoded the whole album and seeded it in Soulseek. Despite their critical stance on DRM, Monolake will only give away tagged promos from now on.
